Integration of County Schools/NC09

Proposal:

Have volunteer students from local and surrounding schools work together on beautification projects to improve standard and attract more affluent individuals to the area
Long term goal: decreasing the teacher student ratio so there can be more focus on each student
Increase the amount of lower-income housing. This would attract more of the minority to live in New Canaan, thus integrating the school systems (Alex, Conor, Brian)

Summer camps for different elementary schools
More integrated projects (such as the Chilean Project)-how to improve communities
Create a small mandatory enrollment fee in affluent communities ($5 dollars per child in the school system) that would then be donated to large inner city school systems allowing them to spend money on necessities for a better education. By bettering education future generations would be more integrated.
